Denim with a touch of Cultural flair

DSC_0258
Before I start talking about my outfit, how artistic and dope is the background for this particular shoot? I love and appreciate art. The Creative Garage in Adams Arcade next to Nairobi women Hospital was the perfect destination to channel a casual street look. The walls are invitingly endowed with hyper-creative, aesthetic and symbolic graffiti. If you love and appreciate art, spare some time every Friday from 5:00 pm and visit the place. You will get a chance to experience the unconventional beauty and also interact (chill) with other artists in different fields..

Denim on denim is one of those fashion trends that are just timeless. When you want a casual look that is edgy, chic, convenient and also comfortable look no further.

I paired the denim skinny pants with a denim shirt which had a touch of luminous green on its pocket and buttons. I elevated the look with my yellow turban and the bold statement button neck-piece. My goal was to boldly and tastefully inject an African feel to the outfit. The button neck-piece boasted a rich African cultural twist. It is designed with different Ankara prints in a variety of colors and therefore can blend in with a variety of outfits.

I cemented the look with a pair of strapped Red heels. I felt so chic and edgy and am sure you can see the confidence oozing from the whole look.

At least I know where you live, which means those heels might go missing, I should not be held responsible because of temptations. You look elegant and chic, you have managed to give us a tasteful kind of sexy and sassy. The add of Ankara on the denim was pure bliss and you look lovely in a turban unlike me who might look like a homo erectus, lol!
