I am a self-proclaimed pants die hard since I was young. Growing up and transitioning from a little gal to an aduItand adjusting to dresses and skirts has been probably my hardest task till today. I remember wearing a skirt for the very first time during my internship. The discomfort was real and I almost felt naked.
The reason was not because the skirt was short or tight. It just felt weird. I felt exposed, I felt limited while walking and sitting. You will agree with me pants come with the comfort and freedom of throwing your legs however you feel as you walk and sit. (channelling the inner tomboy). It might seem effortless when you see me post about skirts and dresses. The truth is I’m slowly morphing. To date I still prioritise on pants and I probably own more pants than dresses.
Pants can be worn with almost any type of shoe. If you chose comfort and consider, low heeled or flat shoes, pants never disappoint. If you are the kind of gal who loves some heels you can always count on pants.
Pants are very functional. When it comes to buying clothes, apart from the fit, quality and the way they look, the other top most consideration is always how functional any outfit is. To the office, on a casual day, different events and even to church. You can never go wrong with pants. If you choose the perfect design to suit different occasions, then pare them with the right tops, blouses or even cover-ups.
Pants Suit Most Body Types. Unlike skirts and dresses which might flatter just specific body types. Pants can almost suit anyone if styled properly and if you choose the right design. If your legs are not your favourite body part, or if you don’t love exposing too much flesh. Pants will give you that modest fit and confidence.
Pants are timeless. Trends come and go…. I have never seen pants out of season. The design and type might vary from formal pants, casual pants, palazzo pants, Harem pants, Leggings and jeggings.
These and many more reasons will always make me prefer pants. Do we have more pants diehard fans? Tell me more on the comment box. Great week ahead.
